Who We Are
We are Silver Sayang, a Singapore based youth-led initiative dedicated to bringing joy, connection, and mental well-being to the elderly. Our journey began in 2024 through the Next Gen Philanthropy Leadership Program, where our project was selected as the champion initiative for its impact, heart, and potential. With the support and funding we received, Silver Sayang grew from an idea into a living, breathing movement.
Backed by a passionate team of young changemakers, we are committed to reducing loneliness among seniors through meaningful interaction, creativity, and care. As we continue to grow, we’re evolving our project to better meet the needs of both the elderly and the youth; building a future where empathy bridges generations and happiness has no age limit.

Silver Sayang was proudly nominated as a champion project in the NextGen Philanthropy Program, marking the official start of our journey.

Regular Meetings with Elderly
We conduct regular meetings with the elderly to understand their needs, share stories, and co-plan an upcoming art exhibition to showcase their creativity.

Outreach and Activities
Our team is continuously reaching out to elderly homes and organizing activities to ensure seniors feel connected, valued, and cherished.

Meet the Team
Head of Technology
I’m Anirudh, a 2008-born student at UWC East. I started Silver Sayang because I believe technology can help build lasting connections between generations. By using digital tools, we can bridge gaps, share experiences, and make it easier for youth and seniors to support each other in meaningful ways
Project Manager
I’m Kureha a UWC east student born in 2007. I cofounded this project because of a shared passion of human connection across generations. Every small moment matters, and I truly believe compassion is something we can all share, no matter our age.
Head of Design
I’m Flora, a student born in 2010 studying at Temasek Junior College. I dedicated myself to Silver Sayang as I believe that everyone deserves love, including and especially the elderly.

Hi! I’m Taiga, a 2008 student from UWCSEA East, passionate about creating meaningful, lasting communities. Inspired by the wisdom of elders in my life, I aim to create moments of joy, understanding and irreplaceable moments between youth and seniors.

Marian manages our finances with precision, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our initiatives and maximizing our impact.

Matteo co-leads our marketing strategy, crafting compelling stories that inspire action and foster a sense of community.

I’m Gabriel (Yu Junxiang), a 2008-born student at Hwa Chong International School. I’m a tech enthusiast who believes innovation matters most when it helps people, so I joined Silver Sayang to turn our skills into companionship and care for the community.
